For over a decade, I was Co-Founder and Creative Director at Immersed Games, an educational video game studio based in Buffalo, New York.

I’ve been an artist for my entire life. I spend about half of my free time sewing stuffed animals, and I spend the other half drawing.

I hold a BA and an MA in English with a concentration in creative writing. I love comics and graphic novels, puns, animal facts, and my tiktaalik necklace. (Ask me what a tiktaalik is!) I live in Rochester, New York with my husband, our daughter, and our dog Astrid, and our lizard, Melvin.

The Little Prince is the best book, Garamond is the best font, and the Oxford Comma is essential.
